Abdul Mawgood CEO – Nile River Dahabiya Abdul Mawgood, CEO of Nile River Dahabiya, was born and raised in Aswan, where his deep connection with the Nile began at an early age. Inspired by traditional sailing boats and the timeless beauty of the river, he dedicated his career to preserving and operating the classic Dahabiya vessels. After years of hands-on experience working on various boats and guiding guests through the ancient wonders of Luxor and Aswan, Abdul fulfilled his lifelong dream by acquiring his own Dahabiya in 2005. Since then, he has curated exceptional Nile journeys, expanding routes beyond Luxor and Aswan to include historic sites such as Abydos and Dendera. Over the years, he has owned and operated several renowned Dahabiyas and built a loyal international clientele who return for the authenticity, professionalism, and personal touch that define his cruises. Today, Abdul oversees a distinguished fleet, including The Sekhmet, The Embrace, and The Lady Bastet, while collaborating with trusted Nile boat owners to offer guests a wide selection of vessels tailored to their ideal sailing experience. Under his leadership, Nile River Dahabiya continues to deliver elegant, culturally rich, and unforgettable journeys along the Nile.
